About the product

Bring a soft, floral pause to your tabletop with this set of four watercolor cork coasters. The PINK DIANTHUS design feels like a quick breath in a sunlit garden — delicate petals rendered in transparent washes of pink and blush, each piece carrying the gentle, hand-painted energy of a small still life. These coasters sit quietly under your mug or glass, adding a touch of botanical calm to slow mornings, shared tea times, or a cozy catch-up with friends. The glossy, high-definition surface makes the watercolor blooms sing, while the cork backing keeps everything grounded and steady. Dianthus
Dianthus is a genus of about 340 species of flowering plants in the family Caryophyllaceae, native mainly to Europe and Asia, with a few species in north Africa and in southern Africa, and one species in arctic North America. Common names include carnation, pink, and sweet william.

Known as the "Flower of God" because its name comes from the Greek words dios (god/divine) and anthos (flower). Greek botanist Theophrastus coined the term, signifying its divine association, and it was historically used in Greek ceremonial crowns.

Health Benefits: Dianthus, commonly known as pinks or carnations, possesses diuretic, antibacterial, and anti-inflammatory properties, with a long history in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) for treating urinary tract infections, digestive issues, and promoting detoxification. It is rich in antioxidants, flavonoids, and saponins, often used to alleviate fever, reduce stress, and treat skin conditions.

COLOR PINK: Gratitude, motherly love, and affection.

Grow Type: Dianthus (Pinks) are mostly short-lived Perennials, but they are often grown as Annuals, Biennials, or Perennials depending on the variety and climate. They are known for their fragrant, fringed flowers, with many types blooming from spring through fall. They prefer full sun and well-drained soil.

Key Differences:

Lifespan:

Annuals last one season (e.g., sunflowers, impatiens).

Perennials live for three or more years (e.g., peonies, hostas).

Regrowth:

Perennials may die back in winter but regrow from roots in spring.

Annuals must be replanted yearly.

Bloom Time:

Annuals generally flower profusely all season.

Perennials typically have a shorter, specific bloom period.

Maintenance:

Annuals require yearly planting;

Perennials require less maintenance once established but may need dividing over time.
